Webinar overview

What it is: a free online briefing on the launch of The Astra Samui. I host it with three specialists, and together we cover the project, foreign freehold, the investment visa and how to secure a unit on launch day.

When: Monday 26 October 2026 at 6pm Thailand time.

How long: about one hour.

Format: live on Zoom. We present, then answer your questions live, and you can book a private call with my team afterwards. We reveal the launch prices during the session, and if you cannot make it live you can ask for the recording, prices included.

Who it is for: residential buyers, investment buyers and brokerages looking at Koh Samui, especially if you want a condominium in your own name or are interested in the investment visa.

Why I am hosting this

Over the years, many of the buyers I speak to have asked me the same question about Samui: where can I buy a condominium in my own name? The honest answer has usually been that there was very little to choose from. Most of what was available was villas, or units sold on leasehold.

The Astra Samui changes that. When I saw the project, I wanted to give buyers a chance to hear about it properly, with the right people in the room, before the units go.

Why The Astra Samui

  • Koh Samui’s first luxury foreign freehold condominium.
  • Just over 30 foreign freehold quota units available in phase 1, from studios of about 26 sqm to two bedrooms of about 73 sqm, some with pool access.
  • Eligible for Thailand’s one year investment visa: buying over 3 million baht can make you eligible, and prices start from 3.42 million baht.
  • A short walk to Bophut Beach and to Fisherman’s Village, with its restaurants, cafes and Friday walking street, among five star resorts.
  • The flagship Koh Samui project of one of Thailand’s top 10 publicly listed developers.
  • Fully furnished.
  • A 70m lagoon pool, a gym and a sauna.
  • Rental management if you want to let your unit while you are away.
  • Launch prices revealed during the webinar.

The investment visa

This is the part I expect most of you will want to hear about. Buying property worth over 3 million baht can make you eligible for Thailand’s investment visa. The route is active outside Bangkok, where it is currently paused, so Samui is not affected. I wrote about this in more detail when the 3 million baht property visa came back outside Bangkok.

On the webinar I will explain what the visa is, how the stay works and who may qualify. Everyone’s situation is different, so please bring your questions and we will go through them live.
